Title: Telephone, face to face and digital Gateway Assessor

Pay scale: £14,430 – £16,103.06 (Pro Rata)

Hours: Full time 37 hours a week – Monday – Friday between 9:00 – 18:30 and the occasional Saturday between 9:00 – 13:00

Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2018

Benefits: 2% contributions to employer’s pension scheme. 25 days annual leave (pro rata), bank holidays (pro rata) and an additional 2.5 days to be taken between Christmas and the New Year (pro rata)

Job Description

Context of role:

Gateway assessment is the first point of contact for members of the public telephoning the Citizens Advice, contacting us by digital means or accessing face to face debt advice. An assessor is there to establish what the client’s issue is, ensure that all relevant information is collected, help them resolve the issue whenever possible and provide the best next step.

Title:    Grant Processor – South West Water Projects

Pay scale:    £15,607.53 - £17,688.53 (pro rata)

Hours:    37 hours per week (suitable for job share)
22.5 hours per week

Job Description

Context of role:

This post holder will be part of the Citizens Advice Plymouth Water Debt Gateway/FreshStart team and be responsible for supporting a project providing financial assistance and guidance to South West Water (SWW) customers who are experiencing financial difficulty.

You will need to have previous experience of administrative work, good communication skills, and be well organised.

Excellent IT and decision making skills are essential and you should enjoy working as part of a busy and motivated team.

In addition it would be beneficial to have an understanding of debt and welfare benefit advice. However this is not essential to apply for this post.

Pay scale: £19,197.27 - £21,850.44 (pro rata)

Hours: Part-time 18.5 hours per week (days negotiable)

Job Description

Context of role:
Providing debt & energy advice to EDF Energy Customers referred to our service via the EDF Energy helpline. The employer for this post is Citizen’s Advice Plymouth and the line manager for this post is the Energy Projects Co-ordinator.

Role:
To contribute towards the delivery of a comprehensive debt & energy advice service for clients, in line with the requirements the funder. Providing clients with debt & energy advice appointments over the phone, helping them find solutions to their issues.
